5. Love a Popped Collar and rock it with hair in an up-do.

6. Simple Jewelry is best so the look is not over complicated.

Emily Maynard stepping out with Beau Jef Holmes in NYC

Blonde bombshell and Bachelorette Emily Maynard stepped out with beau Jef Holmes in New York City dressed to kill. Strutting her stuff in a Sheer Black Blouse, Black Lace Shorts and Black Peep Toe T-Strap Stilettos with a Blush Colored Snake Skin Clutch Emily Maynard had the right idea (and killer legs), but I would style the look a little differently. Personally not a fan of the bra showing through, this isn’t typically a slimming look or very classy. Go for a black or nude cami underneath, or a black bandeau for a more mysterious look. I also think her balance of necklaces is a little off. When layering necklaces, the tassel needs to fall below the necklaces, not inside of a larger necklace. I would wrap the long necklace twice to complete this look. What do you think? Did Emily Maynard nail The Look or need to think it out a little more?!?

The Pencil Skirt look is pulled together in all of the right places and these women did it right, so take note and take charge of your style. Remember to stay simple and layer when needed. Never overdo a look, it can ruin it all together. Cardigans, Boyfriend Blazers, Necklaces and Belts are simple ways to change the look and create multiple styling options. A stiletto is always best with pencil skirts to elongate you, but sometimes a flat is necessary for comfort. Hope this inspires you to create a look of your own.

Well, it is back to the blonde for me!! I was born blonde and then faked it when it was no longer natural. However, last year sometime, I went on a hiatus and decided I was over the blonde… Well this week I decided it was time to bring back my Blonde Ambition, I was totally over the confused hair I’ve been sporting lately! Cabins, cooking yourself, sub par accommodations, that is not glamping, they simply roughed it at the El Capitan Canyon in Goleta,California!

If you want a true taste of Glamping, Glamorous Camping, there are some fine places around the United States to go. My personal travel wish list is reigning with a trip to Paws Up Luxury Dude Ranch in Greenough, Montana. I am still waiting to visit the fabulous 37,000 acre ranch nestled in the mountainous region of Montana. Paws Up is absolutely breathtaking and the reviews are RAVING! From Haute Cuisine, to Butlers, to Sumptuous Beds, I cannot wait to visit this beautiful site in the middle of stunning nature- I cannot wait to experience what True Glamping is all about… LOVE!

What better place to let her free spirit flutter than at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival located in the Desert Valley area of Eastern California?!? Coachella 2012 seems to be as much about the fashion as the arts, and I have been absolutely enchanted by the pictures of the hipsters and trend setters this year! I paired it with my new Gypsy Shirt, Kate Spade Gold Cross Body Satchel and my Beso Beso Ring from Southern Hippie to bring the “Chic” into my style for our trip to the Houston Museum of Natural Science a few weeks ago!
