Who says you can’t be stylish on the farm? Not me!! I felt comfortable and Texas Chic in my James Perse Casual Tank in Breeze, Pilcro Bubblegum Shorts from Anthropologie and Old Gringo Boots! I absolutely LOVE my Pilcro Shorts- the denim is perfectly stretchy! I love mixing the grey and pink too- it was a fun alternative to my natural attraction to a Perfect White Tee! Not only did I relax and read, but I was trimming trees in my outfit today- it is that versatile!!

The other day I was not having the best day. I made a run into Sephora to pickup some essentials. Next thing you know I am gravitated towards the perfume section… I decided that I needed a scent fiercer than my favorite Jo Malone Floral to give me a boost of fierceness that day… And just like that Burberry Brit did the trick- I was Back!! Love Love the scent of Burberry Brit!
My Fave… Jo Malone English Pear and Freesia
Moral of the story. Have a scent that makes you feel strong and confident! Having a trying day? Go to Sephora and find the boost you need!! No need to go from counter to counter… Read the labels (spice, floral, fresh, etc) at Sephora and sample as many as you need to find your perfect scent!

Sunset at Viceroy Anguilla
Today my husband and I are leaving a vacation at the Viceroy Anguilla that has been nothing short of spectacular. I am sad to leave this magical place, but as I do I will take with me these little beautiful lessons of vacation life…
#1 The sound of the ocean and crickets are the best lullaby.
#2 My vacation is more about sleeping than staying up late.
#3 Not too many things are prettier than a full moon on the ocean.
#4 Rain showers are God’s way of giving us a break from the sun.
#5 I make my schedule around enjoying every sunset.

Greg and I both had silhouettes made when we were younger and I keep them side by side in our bedroom! Love them- I think it’s adorable that we both had one made!

My goal is to inspire, inform and educate myself and share it with others… Sometimes it means sharing what I know, sharing what others know or learning from my mistakes (and not executed perfectly, but I try)!
You can expect my writing to include all parts of my life: Family, Fashion, Shopping, Travel, Home, Events and more… The Suburban Diary will keep climbing the social media ladder by writing heart-felt material that you can connect with! My Number One job is to convey my experiences, thoughts and feelings when I write- and sometimes I miss the errors! I will tell you that I proof each piece 3-4 times, but it is a skill I am working on, so bear with me, and know it can only get better!!
