Bad hair days happen more than you’d like? I have a never-ending battle with my hair, so I am always improving the way I take care of my hair! My first step was investing in a fabulous blow dryer and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my T3 Featherweight Hair Dryer!! It cuts down on drying time and gives me an almost frizz free blow out! Now I’m working on the perfect formula of hair products and color… Michael DeMarse, was so kind as to share some of his Expert Blow Drying Advice with us, and I definitely need it!
Blow Drying
The most important idea is to remove as much water as quickly as possible before one tries to style the hair. More individuals become tired and less motivated trying to style wet hair. The hair will not hold any curl or stay straight till most of the water is removed. You will also tire more easily by trying to hold your arm up in the air with the round brush while trying to remove moisture.
Start by towelling the hair dry thoroughly, then as you might have noticed I use two blow dryers to cut down on the time spent, the trick here is to point the blow dryer down on your head. If you point the blow dryer upwards you may get more tangles. Now take two-inch sections of hair and direct the blow dryer with a nozzle or flow director close to the hair. The flow director increases the heat and concentrates more of the hot air on to the hair. Many of my observations show individuals missing over half of the hair where they are aiming the dryer, thus taking twice as much time to finish.
Well Friends… What do you think? Invest in a good blow dryer, like the T3 Featherweight Blow Dryer, take some expert styling advice from Michael DeMarse and find the best products for your hair!
